Looks so planted and grippy ( as you would expect)

lol its going to drive people insane the whole "its to easy" "its arcade" , Going to be exciting playing something with what look to be very different physics to what we have gotten used to with most simulators.

I wonder where this myth about cars being hard to drive comes from , if its from lack of people having a chance to drive , TV coverage / hype , or just the general weird nature of car handling in most simulators.

Its actually mind boggling how distorted some peoples views of car physics are , you also get allot of terrible drivers though in simulators and in real life so I guess for them it will always be hard.

I agree. Most race cars are planted like hell in reality. :)

Sounds like there may be a major hardware related announcement festering also...

Finally back at home.. today I had probably the most exciting simulation experience I ever had.. soon we'll post news about it all.

Just hoping it's not some military grade full motion rig that costs £20m

Really hope the game lives up to the hype that's been generated otherwise I'll be crying into my breakfast bowl every morning after dreaming of a simulated heaven for too long

definitely sounds like he/they could try something which is not for the public...
My guess would be the Dallara simulator (which looks just like the Ferrari one) but since they want to post news about it, I am a b it curious :)
@KunosStefano
@ConcreteC0w @LRatafia nope guys.. I am talking about something way bigger and more exclusive of that.

Partial Eclipse @PartialEclipse 15h
@KunosStefano @ConcreteC0w @LRatafia Do you mean
…? Powered by AC?

Stefano Casillo @KunosStefano 15h
@PartialEclipse @ConcreteC0w @LRatafia that's closer

tried out the f2 and FR 3.5 in rf2 last night, god awful, then I tried the F3 in GSC 2013, blew away both....i hope AC will blow away that one, its the benchmark for me...
Why do you think it's awful? I thought it was quite good, that is after fixing the very sensitive default accelerator and brakes. Don't know why it was way too sensitive but after adjusting some things it felt great.

Bad news guys Kunos accidentally formatted there hard drives that had all the AC physics code on them , don't worry though code-masters have kindly offered to lend them there physics libraries.

David Barrow - Any more videos Marco Massarutto please ?

Marco Massarutto - Wouldn't you prefer the release of the game, instead?

David Barrow - Oh yes . Any news on that

Marco Massarutto - very soon

David Barrow - Thanks marco

For my part, I still put the reserves ...
"Soon" has been used many times for nothing. "Very soon" this is the first time, but how wide is it? Days? Weeks? Months?
In addition, "very soon" is used in response to the question on the news, and not the game's release.
I remain very wary about this post that ultimately does not mean much ... Too many times I am happy for nothing, we will take me more ...

Do you prefer licensed hardware?

  • Yes for me it is vital

  • Yes, but only if it's a manufacturer I like

  • Yes, but only if the price is right

  • No, a generic wheel is fine

  • No, I would be ok with a replica
