I kinda like these behind the scenes pictures :)

laserscanning some of the old bits as well. Amazing.

Anyone know how much is still left of the old track? Stewart always talked about how people would say Eau Rouge was the most dangerous corner but in reality it was Masta.

The old track still exists. Only problem they might have is a roundabout or 2 that is in the way...

Just open Google Maps and you will be able to go around the old track with streetview

Where'd you get that image from, there was no chicane at Les combes, it went straight on from there, not from maldmedy.

This would be a better image.

Decent MP test. Simone was connected from Thailand with half second latency and we managed not to hit him everytime. Good collisions too

IF the net-code works out well in this that will be awesome.

Net-code is such a fundamental part of multi-player gaming yet it often gets very little attention. Its again one of those things like Tire models and Sound, in that it requires a very specific and niche skill-set to be truly good at and to then actually deliver it to a high standard in the end product.

I know Kunos were working on the net-code 3 or so months ago , It would be fantastic
( when the game is done) if one of the team could sumorise some core aspects of the net-code and there solutions/ if they did any clever things with AI or used any clever prediction methods.

Do you prefer licensed hardware?

  • Yes for me it is vital

  • Yes, but only if it's a manufacturer I like

  • Yes, but only if the price is right

  • No, a generic wheel is fine

  • No, I would be ok with a replica
