I find it hard to beleive that even as far back as 1971 there is a bank at the side of the track with no crash barrier!

I will try for Crystal Palace.

Nope

The track hosted the brittish grand prix some 30 years ago and host many big races today aswell

Its Brands Hatch. 1971 Race of Champions.
Kicking myself for not getting that sooner - I think you cut away the part showing the bridge to make it harder.:laugh2:
Its the entry into Druids - I found a very similar pic of another car which gave me the answer

I actually didn't cut anything away. It was like that and I can not find the pic again

but it said Brands Hatch and I also thought it looked like going into Druids so I took it. And, yea, starting to guess alot of other tracks such as Oulton Park and Crystal Palace before a track like Brands... what were you thinking

I have no excuse, I go there to nearly every race meeting and still did not recognise the track for ages.

I thought the ony tracks an F1 car could have run at which had the track right by a bank would be Oulton and Crystal. In my defence the bank at Brands was cut away from the edge of the track before I started going there.

Here is a new one, not good quality but in an interesting position!
