I grew up about 10 miles from Goodwood and have loads of great memories of popping in to the circuit after college etc and seeing all sorts of different cars going round on test and track days. A particular highlight was the time around 1995-6 when I found a race transporter in the paddock with a Mclaren F1 and a Porsche 959 parked under the awning, sadly just about to be loaded up as their owner had left for the day although I did get to have a good look around them.

Don't take being local to mean track knowledge though, despite having driven many of the UK tracks much further afield I've only ever been a passenger for a couple of laps at Goodwood!

Well done guys and thanks. I feel like the event has got off the ground now. Still plenty of time left for more sign ups of course. Nice to be back on the RD server with modded cars and tracks and with the 2 race format. I'm really looking forward to a fun event and to chatting with (some of) you guys On TS.

The Alfa does have a good sound. Although, the car that I tried had a black interior & a blood red floor. I'm not sure what it means, but I'm in - please.

I never heard of the track. Will try to find the time to take a look. Please remind me occasionally and eventually I'll get there.

No no, that's something else. I think the hill climb is used at Goodwood Festival of Speed, but I don't remember anything about it at other events. I guess it'd be used more than once per year, but I don't know any details.
We will be driving the race circuit, which is used at the Goodwood Revival event I think.

No worries, I gave up entering the SGP events after the last one messed up and wouldn't let me even join the race.

This event is getting like the Russian Olympics, Allan is driving on pain killers, I’m driving on anti inflammatory drugs,. We really need drug testing to be introduced into Racedepartment.
