Congrats on the victory @Tim O'Glock and to the podium!

That was a very strange race for me! The car felt good, I had plenty of practice during the week and yet for some reason I just had no pace. I had a good clean race with no real incidents, a smooth pit stop and yet I was just losing time every lap. Even when I was behind other cars I couldn’t see where I was losing time relative to them, so sadly I’ve no idea what to do different next time. Perhaps it’s just not one of my better tracks!

Thanks to @Steve Le Gallez who once again filled my mirrors for most of the race before blasting past on the last lap with @JoelK close behind. All the more embarrassing now I know how many times you were in the pits Joel :D

Well that was a rough race... Losing power and internet a few minutes before the start of qualy really made me lose my concentration. Qualifying went ok, I know I had more pace but I just couldn't get back into the rythm. I had a good start of the race until I spun near the end of the first lap, and things went downhill from there. I tried to focus but that track is so damn hard to get some rythm, I managed a few good overtakes but for the most part, everytime I was getting close, I'd do a mistake and get on the accelerator too quickly.
Probably one of the most difficult races I've done.
Congrats to the podium and to whoever managed to race without incidents, I tip my hat to you.
Edit/PS: now for the Superbowl! Pats suck!

Thanks for the race guys. These last 2 tracks have been terrible for me, couldn't find my rhythm at all. Not a fan of the tracks either. Glad to have them out of the way. Now on to some tracks i really like. Well done to Ferdinand, another great race. Though i'm still waiting for RD to administer blood & urine tests to the grid as i suspect some use of performance enhancing drugs are at play

More than happy with 8th place, far better than my actual pace, which should've place me around P15. Had a good start, moving from 14th to 11th. Held that position for quite a while, but couldn't really keep up with the guys ahead. After the pitstop I found myself within the top 10, Patrick and Lorenzo chasing me down. Gained another spot up to 8th when Ronnie spun off. Battle got really intense in the final minutes. Lorenzo got past me 2 or 3 times, but each time went off a bit later to give me back the position. Somehow could hold on to 8th in the end.

Was lucky I didn't disconnect in the end, connection went bonkers for some reason. Have to investigate what went wrong there, for once it seems unwanted Windows updates weren't the culprit.

Thx for the race! It's was loooong two weeks without wheel and that's the reason why I was forced to skip round 2 race... My T300 wheel broke down at Friday before race. Manged to get all new gear to this race and had them assembled in place at late Saturday evening  So there was plenty of time to train :geek:
Got surprisingly good place in qualy (8th) and after not so good start in race I managed to climb to 6th place pretty quick.
Race was good. I got decent lap times through whole race with good consistency. Rather that I was driving all alone most of the race :D @Robert Severikangas was 3-8secs ahead of me all time and to behind was like 8-25secs gap... I managed to catch Robert in last 5 laps and tried to get advantage with DRS but with those tires it was little risky and I spun after chasing couple of laps. Thought it was all or nothing cause there was over 25 secs to back so... ;)

That was the most frustrating race I have ever done here at RD
I put a lot of practice off line for this one, when you nail a lap here it feels so good, but it's so hard to keep up a good consistency.
But my biggest downfall was the bloody throttle, or getting on it too quickly  I could do 3/4 clean laps then bang spin! Must have happend 4 times during the race I could have thrown the wheel through the window if it wasn't bolted down
I knew before the race to be very aware of it, but no matter what I tried, what setup I adjusted I knew it would come back to ruin my race :(
I hope Indy is easier ......:x3:

I think you are one of them :D i was struggling to keep up with you even with drs :roflmao:

I don't know what happened after Quali but from the very start of the race my performance dropped to the floor. I had no issues during practice and quali but race was unplayable for me with FPS drops under 10 FPS !!! I apologize but decided that it's just unsafe for me to drive (not to mention race) with these technical difficulties so i exited the race. And I apologize to @Harper for a contact caused by me.

Hiya, Oh that's ok my friend. At first I thought it was my fault. As some have mentioned when you get the warning bar at the top it blocks the mirrors. So I knew where you were as I crossed the start/finish line but was slightly blind under breaking (invalid lap, no time, ye de da..) Then all of a sudden you appeared!:) No harm done.

I couldn't manage any running before the event but even so I was a bit disappointed with my pace. I could stay with some of the lead group when they came to lap me but I was losing a few seconds in those last two corners. I was playing with the line during the race but even so my pace wasn't really there. Got a finish anyway which is the important thing.

One thing I definitely need to do is run a few laps every other night on the Nords. Haven't raced on there in a long time and I need to make sure I'm ok for that one.

Oddly I had that FPS issue previously as well (dropped to about 5FPS), but it was a setting in NVidia that I changed and that more or less sorted it. I still get a bit of stutter/tearing but it's not too bad. Just makes my eyes sore! :geek:

It's strange as usually Raceroom is the best sim on my PC for performance (before the 64bit update anyway). Maybe I need to adjust some of the visual effects and see if that smooths things slightly.

Appologies for missing this race, my area had a powercut that lasted throughout the night therefore I couldn't race or even inform someone I would not be able to race! Gutted as i was looking forward to it!

That whole race was a real struggle for me. I think maybe my throttle pedal is playing up again, because seemingly at random my car would turn into an understeery boat for long periods. It felt like power was being applied while I was braking and turning which kept pushing me wide. Almost retired but soldiered on and in the end didn't finish too badly.

Hoping my pedals aren't on their way out because I can't afford a new set right now!

Sorry for posting so late guys, but here are the results from Round 3. You can download the results file here.

Quick question regarding the final round of the championship at the Nordschleife - are we still running 15 minute practice/qualifying for this round? If so then qualifying will essentially be a one lap shoot-out seeing R3E doesn't allow you to complete your current lap once the session hits the time limit. Unless you can turn 7:30.0 laps of course! Could make it very, very interesting :)

Thanks for the quick answer Bram! Although I was looking forward to seeing how many drivers would manage to set a valid timed lap in one shot at the Nordschleife :D I definitely need to get some practice in there!
