2018 Formula One Azerbaijan Grand Prix

@Gaz
Do you expect an official answer on who is at fault for the crash from a team member, especially before they talked with the drivers?

4th race of the season, 2nd time VET will lose points due to RBR. (well, rather VER mostly)
Yes, I'm a Vettel fan, but it's still just frustrating to watch.
Vettell lost points because he made a mistake. He's gained advantage under caution himself before so can't always have it go his way.

This is from the Formula 1 Website....I am quite surprised that Charles LeClerc managed to get his driver of the day, as for those 3 people who disagreed with me

https://www.formula1.com/en/championship/awards/driver-of-the-day.html

To back up my claims from the people who voted on the Formula 1 Website yes I know this is gonna be different to what people say here but I am trying to back up my claims yes I know this site will vote differently but I am just stating what I saw from the F1 website and what I saw he did have a good race

well driver of the day for me is that old man in WTCR today :D
or maybe alonso just because he managed to keep his car together and drag it into pit after he got double puncture at the first sector of track!

Grosjean has managed to destroy two Haas cars during "non-racing" moments :(. Remember the formation lap before the 2016 GP in Brazil? And today he manages to do it again. Both times he was in the top 10.

What a joke...

I feel Max Verstappen might loose his seat to Gasly or Hartley if he keeps it up like this, remember the entire Torpedo incident in 2016 with Vettel and Kyvat a few years ago and how Vettel went to Christian Horner and spoke to him in Russia and that MIGHT have caused Kyvat to be given the "THIS IS SPARTA" kick to Toro Rosso while Max got hauled up to Red Bull and won in Spain. History could repeat here....

Nice race but i think Verstappen needs to change his approach to defending/attacking/racing at all. (not saying it was his fault today but nevertheless he was involved in many incidents throughout this short season)

Vettel made a very rare mistake and that cost him the lead of the championship. Hamilton got lucky and he knows it. That makes him more likeable.

Clearly fault of VERstappen, weaving, RICciardo had nowhere to go ...
Again VER, I hope for a race ban this time around

Great drive from LEClerc, putting ERIcsson to shame and shows that Sauber can be competitive :)

The win of HAMilton was lucky but not undeserved, as he had the pace.
But so much bad luck for BOTtas ... :( or RAIkönnen ...
VETtel ruined his own race with that lockup into T1 ... that is racing

The difference IMO is that Kvyat didn't perform while he was at RBR and also did stupid moves or crashed.
Verstappen shown how talented he is, it's just that he is too aggressive and/or makes poor choices while fighting for positions.

There might be repercussions for VER after today, but I doubt he will get benched or demoted any time soon unless he causes another (stupid) crash with RIC.

I would say he would more likely get benched sooner than getting the boot to the ass, the reserve driver is Sebastien Buemi and isnt he quite good?

Buemi has quite the temper as well even French people will tell you the same. So I'm not sure if he fits that seat better than Max Verstappen at the moment. Both suffer from too much red mist moments.

In the end Daniel got 2 DNF's now, which is really hampering any championship hopes he might have had. That Max doesn't know how to drive for a championship should be clear by now, well except for his fanboys who see conspiracies and unlucky outcomes only.
