This mod is composed of a Base and a Layer. You need both in order to have the full mod.

LAYER MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (STEAM) - Thanks to @Paxon

1. Go to the MM Community Hub in your steam client.

2. Go to the workshop.

3. Search the workshop for "enzoli".

4. Find the "Layer" mod and click it.

5. Click on the subscribe button.

6. Make sure the mod is active in your in-game workshop.

You can proceed the same way for my other mods you found on step 4.
BASE MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (WINDOWS)
  1. Download PART1 and PART2 on your computer. Both parts are necessary.
  2. Right-click MM 2016 Mod 1.x.x.part1.rar and uncompress it.
  3. Part 2 will be uncompressed automatically. You should now have a folder MM_Data with the installer right next to it.
  4. Launch the installer and follow instructions.
If the installer does not work for you, simply copy/paste the MM_Data folder into your Motorsport Manager folder.
BASE MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (MAC) - Thanks to Mr Peugeot and Alon2o
    • Download PART1 and PART2. Both parts are necessary.
    • Create a folder anywhere and put both mod files in this new folder
    • Open Part_1 of the .rar file with an extractor (I use The Unarchiver but I’m assuming any upzip program will work)
    • Don’t worry about Part_2. The extractor will have included that without you seeing it.
    • You will get a folder called MM_Data.
    • Open finder
    • Command + Shift + G
    • Library / Application Support
    • Click on go
    • Steam
    • /Steamapp
    • /Common
    • /Motorsport Manager
    • Right click
    • View the contents of the package
    • Home
    • Resources
    • Data
    • Replace the resource.assets file with the one in the MM_Data you obtain in step 5.
    • Open StreamingAssets folder
    • (Download and in data)
    • Then replace only the Champ1.bk2 files
    • Champ2.bk2
    • Champ3.bk2
    • And replace the TeamIntroMovies folder

FAQ:
- After I installed the mod, the drivers, teams and staff are fake and all logos are original ones.
You didn't activate the mod "layer" on the Workshop. Please do so as stated above.
- My game crashes during or after launch / I get a black screen then nothing.
Make sure you run the last version of the game on steam.
Go to Steam then right click on Motorsport Manager>Properties>Local Files>Verify integrity of game cache. This will synchronize your game to server version which is always the last version available.

- I don't see the car liveries. Rest is working fine.
Liveries do not work in 2d Mode. Turn on 3d mode.
- How can I change logos/team names/... myself?
Download Unity Assets Bundle Extractor and open resources.assets with it. Extract textures or textassets with the "plugin" button on the left. Modify things and import file back using the same "plugin" button.
Logos are in logos1@1080. Practice and Quali Times are in simulationsettings.

Guys, I'm currently working on extending the number of drivers portraits in my facepack.
I now have 154 drivers which leaves around 40 more to go.
I will add journalists too.
I looked for chairman but some lower tier ones are really hard to find in decent quality.
Same goes for engineers and Team Principals.

Anything we can help with? If you have a list of names that you need decent quality pictures of, I'd be happy to help!
 
yep, it was me... guess editing the 2D liveries would be a lot harder than the 3d model, right?
You are right, settings on High and everything working as expected. @enzoli do you think this is related to the pack or has something to do with the core of the game?
I didn't find 2d models liveries to edit though. Think they're build differently.
Don't know about the high settings. Think it's the game but we never saw it because portraits weren't there before.
I have installed but ik have not the real pictures of the car.
How can this Enzoli?
Check few post up m8, it's just been discussed. 2d mode don't show liveries. Use 3d mode instead.
 
Great mod, enjoying it a lot. There seems to be a bug with the Jack & Jones sponsor though. When I hover over it, the game crashes.
Weird because that bug was corrected in the last version. Did you download version 1.3?
Hey, the game works fine until Season/Career mode - it crashes on either the 9th or 11th March, and won't go beyond. I've only got the Mod installed, and it/the game are up to date.

Any suggestions?
Well, never heard of a date crash, must be relied to some event happening. What's happening in your game at that date? Could be many things so we need to identify the cause.
 
I get an error while trying to install the mod with the installer.

Manually installing the mod doesnt seems to work either since I get stuck with a black screen.
 
Hey Enzoli, was really excited to use this mod, got it all installed and everything taken care of. But, when I start my new game, I try to advance to just the second day of the new game and the game crashes. All I did was start upgrading my car, HQ, and scouting. Any idea what's up? I did make a couple database changes to your mod and used the modding folder in MM Data to put those changes in my game, but that shouldn't really do anything, right? Cheers.

As an update. I just started a new game without any of my additions to the database (drivers, mechanics, engineers, assistants, chairman, scouts), and the game did fine in the restart. Made it the whole way to the first race without any crashes. I don't know if it's something wrong with my database changes, or if there's something incompatible between your mod and using the modding folder in MM Data. I'll keep having a peek.

Another question, though, if you see this. Are you going to be updating this mod for the 2017 season? For the changes in the drivers and liveries and such? Cheers.
 
Yes I did, but I'm using an older save. Could that be the culprit?
It is. Data is stored in your save file, so the corrections I made are not taken into account if you play your old save.

Database changes are more than probably the cuplrit.
They are very problematic because there's no way to identify easily were you made the mistake. Often is a misplaced or forgotten comma.

You're on MAC then. Did you locate the MM_Data folder in your game already?

Yes I will make a 2017 mod but I'm still waiting a bit. There are drivers and staff changes every week and I don't want to make a mod that will need to be updated each time. GP2 is yet to announce 13 drivers and I see staff changes almost every day in F1.

Fantastic. May hold off on making a save with your mod until you update it for next season. But, if I get way to impatient (which I am prone to doing), is there any way to update my liveries and everything else cosmetic you'll be upgrading for the new season in a save I've already made? Or would it cause some kind of massive instability that'd ruin the save?
