I dont think any of the times posted here today really reveal MUCH, just how the track was it was mostly up to the drivers, and I think Ferrari were just taking it TOO easy, who knows.

If there is a Dry Q @ Malaysia then we shall see.

I hope you're right, that will be better for the racing.

But on the discussion the commentators were having just now, they made a really good point, stating that these tires should last about 10 racing laps. But they were thrashing them for 2 to 3 laps, much harder than racing laps, and they should be worn much more than they would be after 3 racing laps.

Vettel's tires looked horrible when he came back after quali, and I am guessing everyone else is in the same position - didn't see theirs.
perhaps they rolled the dice gamble of a wet start.

thats the only logical choice, If they were logical enough, or perhaps it was ego driven. Either way they better have a good gamble.

Maybe, just maybe, everyone else took it easy or just didnt have enough heat in a damp track, especially with SS having a cliff of low temps.

I really hope so, otherwise someone starting in 11th or lower could be leading the race on lap 6 :roflmao:

Apparently the local network here said that organisers decided to cancel it because there is just too much of a crammed schedule because the Q2 and Q3 happened this morning, not yesterday.

ah okay. well tbh, I would of just gone on intermidiates if the forecast is that low on rain and start the race on a spanking brand new super softs.

Honestly I think the supersofts are going to be run here once, unless there is a safety car towards the end I would of prefer starting with mediums and gone for supersofts..

damn pirelli, cant they just stick with yellow and white tyres like last year?

this is starting to look like another Korean GP 2011..where supersofts were ditched quickly

I envy all the ones who got broadcast of the Q.

NBC here decides that somehow a soccer match of Seattle and Portland (usa teams) is more important than F1....:cautious:

But at least it made for a lot of talking and excitement about tyre strategy. It should help to make the race a little more exciting too.

well if anyone is kind enough to find a stream PM me, the one i have is ditched and I fell asleep with NBCs glorious broadcast of marshalls clearing the track of water last night...

My perfect race? Webber to take the lead after turn 1 on his way to victory with Vettel retiring due to a hydraulics failure.. oh I can dream...
well another dream could be Vettels tyres being all red and gone like the F1 2011 game bug (lol), but Webber must have a better start than him, which the odds are against him.
