Where were you the last 8 or so races? He's on par with his end-of-season form in 2012. He has outqualified Alonso in the last 3 races now.

Well, I know he turned it up 2nd half of last season, but even before that, what was up? 
It will come down to who's supersofts will last the longest.
Backing him for this season, hoping he really does well.
Massa is a very quick driver, people seem to have forgotten that. He just needs (unlike Alonso) a balanced car underneath him.
I'm happy for him and hope that Ferrari can have a serious battle for WCC.

Your point being? He's had an upturn in form, and I think he's really over his 2009 injury now, mentally.
Probably the Podium in Japan gave him the Confidence he needs and He was back to his 07 and 08 form. He was the Quickest driver at that time isn't he.
First time Alonso has been out-qualified by a teammate in Melbourne since 2006.

They've beaten a record. I'm already pissed and the race hasn't even started yet.
Also, Red Bull seems to have great one lap pace, but track conditions were anything but normal. I think the race will be interesting, with Hamilton 3rd, Massa 4th and Alonso 5th. Räikkönen is a bit too far from the front, but anything can happen. I also expect to see a lot of medium tyres.

I hope you're right, that will be better for the racing.
But on the discussion the commentators were having just now, they made a really good point, stating that these tires should last about 10 racing laps. But they were thrashing them for 2 to 3 laps, much harder than racing laps, and they should be worn much more than they would be after 3 racing laps.
Vettel's tires looked horrible when he came back after quali, and I am guessing everyone else is in the same position - didn't see theirs.
