When entering pits, you have to do one lap around the new Nürburgring and when you are about to enter the old ring, just pit from the last corner of new track. Exiting the pits is normal, apart from the fact that you don't have to do one full lap, you can just go around the new track and start a new lap by driving between the cones and the pit wall. If it says "Cut Track Lap will not count", just ignore it, you will be able to set a lap time if this is your first lap if the stint.

Hope that helped :D

Im guessing entries will be confirmed after the closing date. Does a team that hasn't raced in RD leagues before, but signed up on time, has be testing a lot, communicating with RD, have 3 kart drivers and one hardcore sim racer have any chance of getting into the race? Im really worried we wont get in :(

Been cutting some laps around here and im more pumped then ive ever been for a sim race!

Cant wait for all the pre race test sessions to get on track with some more people but am really keen to find out the official list as we are running in our first Race Department league currently so hopefully that wont hinder our chance to much :S.

We will take into account the following:

Previous experience in RD Leagues
Sign up date
Testing
Communication

With such high interest in this event, we will have people that will be disappointed, sadly not everyone will get what they want. If people don't get their 1st or 2nd choice we will do what we can to give them a something. Any team that responds negatively to the entry list will decrease their chances of being on the grid.
So even if you lack at one criteria, you still have chances. Don't worry mate, justice will be serverd :)

Are u 100% sure about this? and not thats it's just entering the pit after you did your ' nordsleife' lap and go threw the gap in the pitwall? iirc that was the way it was done in another enduro event at the same track organised by RD last year

If you want to pit in, you must complete you lap of the old ring and then do one lap of the short GP circuit and pit in at the end of the short GP lap, once you have completed you lap, you then do a complete lap of the whole circuit, do not do another short lap otherwise you will loose a lap as it will penalise you for cutting.

I will be explained in each race briefing.

I agree with Rudy. We had a 24h nos race on sim-racing.de (exactly the same track) and we were using the gap in the pitwall after the nos lap to enter the pits. I think this is how its supposed to be and completing another gp lap before pitting doesn't make sense in my opinion. It will also limit alternative (aggressive) strategies because you will loose a loooot of time doing extra pit stops. It could also lead to DQ's because you are basically cutting a lap ( although it should be fine normally there is still some risk involved). The extra lap before pitting should be used for emergencies in case someone misses the normal pit entry.

You guys should talk to Lutz Enger for advice since he already successfully hosted basically the same event on the nos.

Looking forward to the event!
