I understand the reason why you probably want to race this late, but have you guys thought that most of the drivers here are European, and in order to let 4 or 6 guys race (no offense to anyone in particular) your compromising the participation of more that 10 times that?
I know from at least 15 guys that will have problem to race at this time...
Please don't get me wrong I just think the solution is worst than the cure in this case.

We are hosting a world championship that is accesible for everybody in the world and this is the compromise we choose and stick to during the rest of the season.

Is there a finalized list availble so one can see if they need to drive today instead of tomorrow ?

Just one thing to say , why is this out in the open now . Everybody knew the start times earley on so in my opinion is no point to have it now , we all signed up earleir on knowing the start times . So for me it´s up to inprove my quali so i be in the saturday races.
So it´s just practise and practise.
You all in the staff are doing a GREAT job to get this massive starting feild on the way .
I bow my head and take of the hat for you all!!!!!!!!

KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!

BIG RESPECT TO YOU

I was trying to find how many non-Europeans are racing but haven't found it. And please once again don't get aggravated by what I'm saying, since I think I a legitimate reason for trying to understand the position of the administrators.
The reason I'm not so happy about the change in times, is that a lot of the guys around here actually signed up to this championship taking into account the times and dates of every race. And all of the sudden I found the times had change by a big margin.

And all of the sudden I found the times had change by a big margin.

The only changes made to the starting times from the original ones was to bring it one hour earlier. We did this to make the start time better for Europeans due to the introduction of daylight saving time in Europe.
This change actually made it more difficult for Asians but we thought it to be a fair compromise.

EDIT: You can check the entry lists in GPCOS. (67 non europeans)

The current time is the best compromise what is possible to find for a world wide league, and we will stick to this timing. There is simple no better time. Yes, it is late for Europeans, and it is early for Asians. We want to allow everybody all around the world to race with us, so thats what we will go on with.

p.s.: i myself going to race from Ukraine, which is GMT +3, so practise starts at 23, race at 00.00. :) :) :) (at least i have one excuse... lol)

yup its late in euro land, but hey it's the weekend!!! no school tomorrow!!! :D

i do feel sorry for the guys getting up early doors to race. i was unaware that that time actually existed on a Sunday... well not since I decided to record the f1 and watch it delayed.
