[Skins] question on how the league skins will work

I was just wondering, when we go to join a wtcc league race or even qualifying, will we see everyones skin in the menu, since they are all going to be one the server? How does that work that we will see everyones car if it isn't in our custom skins folder? Just curious.

The Blue one is from my teammate Nigel. He loves Marmite
I don't have the Marmite on my car

Indeed, if I had more time the flags would stay. Difficulty is the bonnet of the template. For the Honda its a bit disorientated and also mirrored. Cost too much time to stick the flag perfect on it; and time is running out.
Better luck next time.

I think you should move the deadline to monday or tuesday, at least to the Hondas! :S

No time to test, no time to skinning, no time at all. In my opinnion if you have decided to add the car, you should give some days to work.

Monday is first day of pre qualifying. I want them to run the right skin/car already then. And today i have other work to do, and tomorrow i'm invited to the wk speedway at the helzold stadium.

Try to see it the other way, now everybody had the chance to make the Honda because we offered it. It is short but now at least we have a new car in the league.

Yves is totally right that the pack has to be ready as soon as possible, so before the prequally starts

Ppl that dont browse your website everyday or just by accident mist it yesterday cant enter with this vehicle. so your not giving a fair chance....

if you wanted a fair chance you should give them more days to work with, for example i didnt had the time to see the patch anyhow so i cant enter anymore with this car.

And why do yo need a new car to the championship anyway everyone is tuned to the seat chevy bmw and alfa ppl cant judge a car on one day rephrase: half a day of driving, ppl that can have inside information....



So i think you should not accept this car inthe championship or give ppl a fair chance

Honda Accord 07

Hey,

After the latest patch I noticed you are allowing people to use the Honda Accord 07 in the upcoming WTCC League.

However I personally have found the Accord to work only in an offline race.

For example If I go to practise then I can select the Honda. On the other hand if I host/join a WTCC 07 server I can only select the the normal 07 cars excluding the Honda.

I have tried joining several different servers with no success.

Is anyone else having this issue?

i think that depends on the car filter server
if you try to join RD server, you will see that you can select the honda

Wierd. I just hosted my own dedi server with every available car class and it doesnt appear :S



Oh my days. I am an idiot. I didn't realsie you have to open the WTCC 07 tab then tick the Accord. *Doh*

It was a chance, a one day offer for those who wish to skins it. For those that drive as Single Drivers there are several days of practise left.

People that do not borwse the web everyday choose not to do that and missing out on short notice things like this is simply a consequence they have to accept.

In the end it doesn't really matter. The Honda isn't signifcantly faster or slower than any other of the cars, so let's not tempt ourselfs to engage in useless discussions here.

its maybe not pretty usefull discussion but your bringing it up, offering a car after closing peroid. its just not fair..... i think

and is the honda significant slower or faster, also a good thing to know. youre leaving this importand note in the middle or not ansering it....:drunk:
