For me the whole pressure of the pre-qual was a big part of the fun in the Mini league where i first experienced this,it can be a bit daunting watching the times coming in on the pre-qual screen knowing i havent been anywhere near the times popping up for group1,what it makes you do is go away and tweak setup and push yourself out of your comfort zone and end up doing laps you never thought possible before,for sure i came out the other side of the Mini league a better Race07 driver than when i entered,and the pre-qual pressure played a big part in that.

I did not finished the skin, and I can't find the person who helped me with it (used to be on the old Race07 forum, before the server went down with their database corruption).

I'll hope for Group 1! But I don't know, this time there are a lot more great racing drivers in that will push me out. I know I could do consistent Group 1 in the Mini Tournament, but I've got an idea this is like 3 times bigger than that championship, I just can hope for it!

Today I worked on the webstyle and setup of our livetiming website.
I just finished my work on it.

During the Pre-Qualify you can follow the progress in realtime on timing.racedepartment.com.

The fastest laps are saved with an hourly interval during Pre-Qualify. Click on the Pre-Qualify button at the bottom to see.

maybe its an idea to let 8 groups in for points

1-4 at sat
4-8 at sunday

if there really about 300 ppl then for the first 2 races this wouldnt be luxery
after those 2 races ppl on the bottem will stop racing as we seen in the wtcc2006 (or stopped because of other issue like me)

maybe it wouldnt cause anyproblems if after 2 races the ppl above places 100 will stop because they cant race anyway because of the prequali system. it will reduce auto to 100 drivers......

[News] WTCC World Championship Start Times Changed

Important Announcement re Starting Times

Please note that the scheduled start times for races in this League have been changed slightly to better suit the majority of European entrants. This was needed to better match the original planned start times since the introduction of daylight saving in Europe.

The start times are now scheduled to begin one hour earlier.

The best way to cope with those kind of disconnection nightmares is to treat it as a "Mechanical Failure",just like can happen to any real racing driver at any given moment,ive seen real life racers lose their championship title win on the last round of a series with engine blow ups,they have to deal with that,and we have to deal with connection problems.
