Is the reason that it's so quiet in this forum because rFactor is old now, and so interest has waned and the new boy GTRe has taken over?
Or are there just too many mods, so people lose concentration over what one to play tonight?

Or perhaps there's another reason that I don't realise.

It just seems a shame that such a varied and wide ranging game is, I dunno, neglected. PCC and F1 seems to be the races run at RD, though I get the feeling the Megans were driven at some point.

Is it worth the effort to revive this ageing giant?

Hi my first post here (yes I promise to do my presentation).
Since OSRM updated the V8 Supercar mod I must say that is one of the best I have tested for rFactor. Being an endurance nut I'd say a real 1000km (161 laps) around Bathurst must be the ultimate challenge of stamina and not to forget patiance.

Not everybody will agree with you Ben,its not all about the car but also about the game .
I dont think EVO is better or worse !! rFactor is another game and you cant compare EVO with rFactor. Both are great simgames and one will stay with rF and the other will be at EVO .

Because my system won't run GTR Evo . Also - I [personal opinion] find that rFactor feels much better than Race07, GTRevo etc. Then only Simbin titles that I found to have a great feel were GTR2 and GTL.

Evo and Race07 [to me] feel more arcade biased than simulator biased .

I might like the mod better if i could get my G25 to feel properly on Rfactor. It feels very strange. Ramon sent me his Controller file but it didn't feel right after that.

Jap F3 would be good - easy to drive and all equally matched cars

Ben, you using Real Feel?

Most people use Real Feel and it may solve the FFB issues you have

Personally i don't, so ive attached my controller file for you to try out anyway.
