WRC9 Mods v1 is finished.
I was in the process of adding new music to the installer and then uploading here and as I was doing that I checked Epic store and Kylotonn rolled back the game from v1.0.43.7 back to v1.0.42.8 which broke the mods again. :cautious:

I'm waiting forme this mod on wrc9 because i think that they forgot the aerodynamics effect on all cars. That's the reason why cars seems too light on tarmac.

Notice how they used 50 as angular velocity, as seen in my "Pro" WRC8 mods
and also many more torque curve points as seen in your performance mods :D

Also centre of gravity is way to high (much higher than WRC8), this makes the WRC cars very top heavy and able to tip over very easily.

Also weak brakes as usual. I have crashed a real car at 70Mph and I can assure you when I stood on the brakes they locked up good and hard (no abs old car), so i'm sure that when using racing pedals you should be able to lock up the fronts too when standing on them hard. I think that they do this so that game pad players don't lock the wheels up all the time.

Notice how they used 50 as angular velocity, as seen in my "Pro" WRC8 mods
and also many more torque curve points as seen in your performance mods :D

Also centre of gravity is way to high (much higher than WRC8), this makes the WRC cars very top heavy and able to tip over very easily.

Also weak brakes as usual. I have crashed a real car at 70Mph and I can assure you when I stood on the brakes they locked up good and hard (no abs old car), so i'm sure that when using racing pedals you should be able to lock up the fronts too when standing on them hard. I think that they do this so that game pad players don't lock the wheels up all the time.

also the center of mass is only on Z axis, that's not a problem for 4WD because they reach 50% of mass repartition (maybe 53%). But on FWD like the FIesta R2 it should be less than 0 (negative number because the repartition is 60/40) on Y Axis and for RWD it should be the opposite.
 
i see too much power (as i feel on the game), center of gravity higher than it should be or just the vehicule gravity too low.
with only those mods, i think it will be better on tarmac :)

I have a subscription to wrc +, even to me, seeing the handling of the real cars (Monte 2021ogier, rain tarmac, no snow, supersoft snow compound,avg speed 50, 90 kmh,in medium,open bends, over 150 in straight way).In wrc9 it seems that those of the game are too fast, especially as regards the accelerations and max speed; in braking there is no adjustment of the braking power(no tires block), and the grip of the tires, on different surfaces, is similar (example: montecarlo, tires hard compound, maximum speed on ice above 170 km / h ,braking without skidding ...(difficult max level, no aids...)

Yes, like in wrc8, all cars are too fast compare with the real car. Wait for the first mod and for sure next mod will correct those non-real things

Pay attention. For me ( only my sensation) in wrc8 default game on tarmac the difference between tarmac-snow is better than wrc9 ( above i spoke for wrc9..). In default wrc9 , even at the max difficulty, without aids,the car handling is too easy ( perfect for joypad..). If you look at a real inside wrc plus camera car ( 2021 monte p.s.) even on dry tarmac, the steering wheel it is never straight, but the ffb reactions are very hard and sudden. ( see the real monte p.s. 3 - tarmac dry and ice..speed in hairpin 5-10 kmh..and p,s, 11, tyres stud, ice, the car is veeery slippery). Many thanks for your mod
Surely it is difficult to create a realistic ffb because there are so many different devices ( i have thrustmaster t300 rs) but there are some games (assetto corsa -by the way, only track-, the "old" richard burns rally) that have a much better feel! (And dirt rally 1 and 2 for me are worse than wrc 8 and 9)
