I can't see any afterparty for Williams, just a good spanking from the rest of the field.Well, some would say that not wearing any knickers would spare you a trouble with pulling them off... when you and your date decide to have a little "afterparty"
McLaren has road cars, McLaren Applied Technologies (Williams has something similar) as well as an establised GT3 division in the 720s GT3. If F1 gets too much, they will simply walk and go to the WEC or Formula E or something. Williams should also bail to FE if they keep on like this.It would be sad to see them go the way of Lotus and Brabham. If they do fold, it makes me wonder about the future of McLaren.
Lack of funding compared to top teams, structural mess in the team and last year's fundamentally flawed car. What is wrong with Williams? Is it just a lack of funding? Did they lose some geniuses along the way? Anybody knows what happened? They used to be a Tier 1 team for the longest time.
Things seemed to start spiraling downward once Frank and Patrick stepped back and Claire took over the reigns. Those two, along with Dennis at McLaren, were probably the most consistently astute team bosses on the grid. Even after Newey left, the Williams Team was still a powerhouse. What is wrong with Williams? Is it just a lack of funding? Did they lose some geniuses along the way? Anybody knows what happened? They used to be a Tier 1 team for the longest time.
