What the hell is wrong with multiplayer?

ThatRacingGuy

I drove 88 MPH last night... weird stuff happened
The other day i wanted to go and drive with some of my friends.
After we all got set up we wanted to set up a server.
Once the server was made everyone could see it but no one could join in.

It always said Join Timed Out.
The hell??

The when decided to go join a existing server.

No one was playing. Literally no one. Zero, 0!
Some many people are active in these forums. But hardly any of them are doing multiplayer.
(please don't start about the RD Races i know they exist.)
There are even more people online on Stock Car Extreme.!

But the fact that we can't make a room for ourselfs makes me mad.

So i need to set those number in these areas?

I dont need to open ports to create a server in project cars ... he is rightfully complaining.
Many smaller teams struggle with offeriing a convenient way of hosting a server / a lobby.

But port forwarding is something you might want to look into if you're really interested in PC gaming as you will stumble upon it from time to time. There are some big names in the list of games that will make you go knee deep into your router configuration. Minecraft for example.
