I work as a marketing communications assistent - will explain as the job title makes no sense to most people
Things like keeping our website up to date and working on the brochures used to promote tourism. Also, things like branding, photography, proof reading, a bit of product research etc and working with the agencies who build our websites and create the bigger brochures and maps that are too big for us to handle in-house.
Half of my job is also to do with helping my line manager with government communications work - which is mainly branding and work like looking at navigation and co-ordinating bits so that we have a new government website built and put live by September. (It's more interesting than it sounds but don't really know how to describe it any better :wink: )
