Most of the music on my playlists - or in my CD shelf, really, because I still buy those - is Punk, Punk Rock, Heavy Metal and most of its subgenres, etc., but I do appreciate some good Synthwave, too. Love how it can be super chill, but also very good to hype yourself up, like this one by Garth Knight (even has a Ferrari F40 as a nice bonus):

My first "encounter" with Roy Haynes was as a radio host in GTA 4. He hosted a radio channel that played jazz tunes that he picked himself for the game, great introduction to the genre

Wow, I never knew that, never played a GTA game.
This is a long listen, I bought this 3 disc set 25 years ago and it's still a regular listen.
