I can;t get my mic to work . With the low numbers is it possible to stay in the server so that I can see when my team-mate pits? Will have to get a new mic tomorrow.

when you are in spectate mod you can be in the server you just wont be driving....when its time to switch over you can take over in pit..

when the server opens we can practice taking turns at switching drivers....think the server will open in few hours, giving plenty of time to practice swapping drivers.

No, you will need to use teamspeak because lurking in the server as spectator wont be allowed during leagues either.

That is the main reason why so many rfactor leagues have stability problems: lurking spectators

We can't swap drivers then Bram... how do we know when to come into the server? I can;t get my mic to work for the life of me and Amir doesn't use one anyway!

How would you swap during a league then ? We cant have 40 drivers on the track and another 40 lurking around and the third batch of 40 drivers also sticking around.
That means that you have 120 people in one room with as a result that the server will crash.
Maybe its not an issue tonight so go ahead, but its an absolute must people use TS during a league

You just need to be on TS and listen Ryan,no mic required so long as your team mate has one ofcourse,he can tell you over TS when to join and get ready to swap.

I won't be taking part in the league Bram, work means I can't do it so that's not an issue.
