Because their is no other of doing it.
You have to make it on any one of the 2012 car 3d model.

i have a request start to the requst thread for the car skin than i work on the rest over the mod garages ,driversuits and racecrew and when its finally i released it when its done but i where happy for help ideas and comments for the rest of the mod works pictures follow

try to copy the force india chassis from the interiors folder in f1 2011 and insert it into the 2012 interiors folder
