i have tried to create some helmets for the 1999 season but the helmet template it's hard to painting, so i cancelled my atempt maybe when you finish your carset, you can make helmet ?
or maybe a good painting modder

I'm using the driver_80 helmet instead and it looks great

Yeah good idea, more easy to paint
I give a try with driver_80 model, just to find good texture for create helmet set

Unpack data.acd of the car, in driver3d.ini
Change the current driver model to driver_80

Or in driver folder of assetto corsa main folder, copy the driver model « driver_80 » and rename the copied file with the name of the original drivel model of the 1999 vrc car... in my memory is vrc-driver-1999

Sorry for the ot (kinda) chrisi, but I'm starting to get the hang of this vrc helmet. I put the vrc driver to lotus 25 so I can see the helmet all around and it makes sense now. Still not the easiest helmet to paint and I would't want to make any overly complicated paints with it as there's lots of stretching and warping in many places. But at least I can make a helmet for vrc driver as that's better from the release pov.
