Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
This time it was a very bad race by me. :(

I made a last minute call changing setup to zero wings rear and front. It felt OK in qualy on softs but was too lazy on meds throughout the race.

At the start I touched Roberts inside entering the chicane a bit to fast on the inside. Fortunately I only spun myself and Robert went on unharmed.

Now I was in a pack of cars at the end of the field. As I said, the car was too lazy on meds and a ton of fuel. Only my top speed was nice. :sneaky:

Didn't place as well as I would have hoped since I got caught up in a pretty catastrophic incident after the first chicane on the Mulsanne.

I think I'm guilty for this one. :( I had a good exit out of the first chicane and was quickly catching and overtaking Casper in his Porsche. Without any intention of doing a line change, I very, very slightly came closer to Casper. A very light touch immediately resulted in our fatal crash, also harming Rob. Guys, I'm very sorry and ashamed for this one!

Now my car was a bit damaged and I was very last. But I tried to drive it home as fast as possible even at the back of the field...

We've all had those kinds of races and, all things considered, you made a good recovery.

It happens, checked the replay because I didn't know what was happening and it was just bad luck. I was holding the middle line because I expected to be passed on both sides, you probably didn't expect me to stay there, slightly drifted and back luck overcame us! For some reason it really did a number on my aero though.

Interesting mid pack tactical race without much drama for me. Robert didn't change tyres and I couldn't catch him. Pushed a bit too hard and made some mistakes but not sure it would have mattered. Managed to keep my distance from some faster cars behind so happy enough!

We're at the glen next Sunday. Hope you can all make it.

Some nice upgrades to the ACSM penguin.
Mainly global BoP which should mean now when you register in one car and afterwards change your mind, change to another. the ballast from the first car won't follow you.

Also means the self register button will stay available right up until the server launches (approx 1.5 hours before race start).

See you for the next one
