United States & Canada

No, Thank You Matt, little do you know, you are the one (and there are many of them, but since this is Matt's post...) of the people I strive to even try to keep up with and maybe even one day, pass (!!?!??!?). About that race monitor, I have started watching your lines, and they have helped me. So, by you I too am imroving. Thanks for your time AND your support...

This first season of the AF3kGPC should be a good one and I look forward to season 2...

:good:

Matt you are dedicated to improving your race craft and you have been rewarded. The hard work and questions gets you there.

I am happy I could help you in anyway man, and I will be glad to keep helping you or anyone else with anything.

Keith

Marcel also warmly welcomed me and often drove right past me on the track. Little do you know that you were the first person I started watching in the race monitor...so thank you for letting me spy on you :)

I am glad you obviously took on the challenge and improve yourself by watching others...
I find it flattering tbh that you started watching me on the race monitor. Imo this is one of the best ways to improve yourself on track. I myself do it allmost every race and learn a lot everytime...
Good stuff Matt :good:.

But i am wondering; what made you started looking at me in the first time?
I am not the fastest or the most consistent driver, the only thing i know i do well is driving good lines...
this is my curiousity acting up....

Anyway, thanks for the kind words, see you soon on track.

I have no idea why I chose you lol, but it was during my first event at Le Mas Duclos that I noticed how fast you were and I watched you starting from the next event on. I just remember thinking "oh great here comes Marcel to blow past me" lol so I figured I might as well start watching your lines, then I just got into the habit.

Matt, congratulations on a wonderful post here. No doubt you have improved rapidly and are already becoming one of the most consistent drivers in most events you enter . You openly admit, you are doing it through hard work, not necessarily a god given alien talent.
I keep having great races with you (when I can keep up :wink2: ) but it's not just your speed that is impressive. In the back of my mind I have a list of drivers I totally trust to be clean, and you are on that list. I rate that more highly than winning.

Thanks for showing such respect to others, you are an inspiration to many here. :good:

That's cool, at least you're not a Huskie or Trojan fan :laugh2:

HEY HEY HEY!!
Nothing at all wrong with being a Huskie fan. I'm from CT.

Since I am still very new at this I hope I can stay out of the way and learn for a bit until I can get faster.

you see that? i brought the beast out. welcome sam!

Hey Sam!! Great to have you here with us!! Tell us more about yourself:)

Well I am 28 from CT.
I started diving sims with gran turismo. Then moved into pc games. I am generally easy going but I got annoyed
because I could not find a good place to race and get better. Right now I am terrible without abs and traction control. As time goes by you will see allot more of me. Especially during races. I look forward to meeting you all on the track.

Hey great!! There is your chance at a fun event where it wont be all about winning, but about having a good laugh in the wet!!

Although for someone not used to drive without traction control the wet at Zandvoort might be little to difficult to start with. Once you get used to drive without driver aids you will never want to go back though :)

Welcome to the best simracing community there is
