What can I do to teams Marussia and Caterham were even more slower?

To make them slower you can change their tier level in the database > f1teams table > tier column (all the way to the right) from 3 to 4
or
you can lower the driver stats for those 4 drivers in the ai_driver table.

idk why you want to make them slower..they're already at the back of the pack in every race with my mod....but to each their own.

Dear snthennumbers,
first of all huge THANKS for the mod I really love it!
One thing bugs me though: In carrer mode I would like to increase the tyre wear making the option tyre only last for 4 laps and then they should be in red health. How and were can I adjust this??

Thank you
seby

Database > tyres table

on my way ;)

ok just tried carrer AND quick race with all values to "1.00" no effect... :(

I will now try with negativ values

---------------

Edit:
Ok now I know what the values in the "tyres" section mean:

It is the amount of laps indicated in the pit box screen where you can select the different tyres for your race strategy. I does NOT have any effect on the actual wear in the game :(

It definitely does have an effect in game, which I why I lowered the values to reflect 2013 tyre performance. 50% races at tracks that don't use the hard compound are now 2 stop races instead of 1 like with the default values...so it does have an effect.
Rather than being so drastic and setting it as 1.0, why not try something a little more realistic like... 8.25 for the Super Soft compound, and work up from there.

ok maybe it changes strategy of the AI and maybe also the suggest strategy of the player but it does not change the wear on the track.

If you say so...
How about this: Once you find the settings that do impact tyre longevity, you let me know. (Keeping in mind of course that the front/rear tyre_wear_level values for each team in the "f1teams" table does not impact the tyre itself, but only determines how hard a specific team is on their tyres).

Looking forward to your response

1. Open the "track_tyre_wear_level" table.
2. In the "wear_level" column Change the 3 values

negative numbers DECREASES tyre wear
positive numbers INCREASES tyre wear

That only works if you're doing races under 100% distance. Change those, do a 100% race, and you'll see the AI will never pit. Tried it at Canada a while back....went 45 laps and the AI still hadn't made 1 stop. They were all crashing off the track because their tyres were so worn.
