Welcome to the AC Racing Club.

With a break in the F3 season, we have a chance for something different on a Thursday and we are going TCR racing with two new cars plus a couple of established models.

Top modder Fuzo has created a new Cupra and a Hyundai. In addition to these great mods we are adding the established Cupra Competicion 2022 and the under the radar Fiat Tipo Competizione as well.
Especially the new and inexperienced drivers are recommended to participate. There are a lot of learning opportunities amongst a friendly community, without the intensity of longer races, plus the chance to get it right in race two!

• Track limits: No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a lift of the gas please. You will be penalized if you break this rule. Penalties are enabled, 2 on screen warnings then a drive through penalty, failure to complete penalty will get you kicked off the server. Warning notices appear as you crossing start/finish when you have cut the track and your lap time was faster than your average lap time. So if you cut the track and gain an advantage, slow down!

Just saw on the practice server the Fiat is running with -50kg BoP @Shed 17 Paul, not mentioned in opening post so wondering if it's for the race?

It was at -50kg during the testing John and the times were pretty close with the other cars, so I am minded to leave it as is for the time being.
If Ernie wins by a country mile then success ballast will be applied for the next race with these.

If your Cupra/Elantra mods show some "funky business" with the rear wheels like lighting up the rear and spinning the car when accelerating check your CSP.

It does not work properly on the "latest recommend version".
CSP 0.2.3 is running stable for me.

Gone back to 1.73, version 2.3 is far too dark (like, at night) and page up/page down doesn't alter it. Though no problem with lighting up the rears. Strange

I don´t have any lighting problems, so I´m on newest version.

(There´s a reason I don´t like this PC bullshit. There´s always something to tinker and trouble to shoot)

I don´t know anything about you being on the list

it may be just CM doing CM things, I also had to trick myself onto the server:

Hover your mouse over the greyed out JOIN button and it spills the key combination.

You can join the Discord without being on the server so you can ask whats up there too.



Shame you didn´t get onto the server it was a "very lively" race session.

We did a very accurate Touring Car Race impersonation with lots of Offs, Spins and Doorbangin´gallore.

It was fun today. The Hyundai makes interesting noises when braking and downshifting. This car sounds somehow well made. A new experience, but somehow the whole thing was good.
Could be done again.

PS: Fiat drivers should commit to starting in snail mode like everyone else.

Nice racing everyone, well done podiums in both races, but especially well done to Paulo on the P3 in race 2.

I may take a look at the Fiat BoP, Thomas had it flying in qualy and in race 2 but otherwise the cars were fairly evenly matched around here.

Next week it multiclass again at Mugello.

We all got on Paul, could you see the server?

I was in the practice session then it came up with a message that said something along the lines of server offline.

Exited back to the overtake site and followed the link in to the server again and it gave me a message ' assetto corsa server offline'

Went to server 4 and 6 and they were online.

Rebooted just in case.

Still the same and gave up

Funny it is still showing offline for me know.

Never mind, next time

Unfortunately I have only replay of race 2 so I can't give a judgement. I think we touched and and I went off.
Never mind. Guess I was little bit too conservative with defending against you and Jason. Had some little errors as those mosquitos were distracting me again
I'm pretty unexperienced with all these cars, think without the bop would have been half a second slower. But need to test more to verify. Don't know if the Fiat is slower without the bop than the other cars or if all these cars are pretty even.
