The W.I.P Thread

The track's sponsors layout is pretty much the same as it was last year, apart from just a few very small differences. I only wish CM would do it justice in F1 2014... For example, the FIA-imposed new runoff area after the bridge at turns 08 and 09 was there last year, but not in the game...

And the straight that leads to turn 10 is going slighty downhill, not uphill like CM's false rendering of it:

When will they take their jobs seriously? :barefoot:

What is this (or what are you trying to say ? )

I went to walk the track at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (Montreal, Canada) yesterday (Thursday afternoon), as working-men crews were busy setting up its layout for the next Formula 1 Grand Prix (next weekend, June 6-7-8) and I took a few phone pictures while walking on it. So it's a real Real-Life Work In Progress (WIP), if you will. For the rest, you do know how to read English (even if mine is poor), right? :p

EDIT: All images removed to free server discspace, since our Canadian GP is over now.

how i replace a circuit by another?
which files should i modify?
is possible export and replace f1 2012 hockeheim to f1 2013 folder and it work?

No, it's not possible to do in F1 2013. It was possible to do this in F1 2012 (from F1 2011), but Codemasters made everything they could to not make that possible (realistically) this time.

Yes. the island is not a complete restricted area until Sunday night (tomorrow). You can walk, run, bike, and drive on it (although, there are security surveillance so you can't exceed the 30 km/h maximum limit), except for the Epingle where they set up the four giant screens, which was restricted when I took these pics.

EDIT: I removed the image to save server discspace here too.

The teams will arrive on Monday morning and they should be ready for the open-gates event next Thursday, which is now a paying event this year. :(

I can see Rolex over there. After the race (for example on Monday) so you can walk there again, right

No, unfortunately, you cannot walk in there without security clearance from tomorrow evening and this, until next Thursday morning. For the open-gates event, you now have to purchase tickets, and all the drivers will be on deck (next to the podium tower) for signatures this year.

After the race, it will remain restricted until all FOM ornaments are gone (to Austria). Of course, the only place that stays open 24 hours-a-day is the Casino (accessed only via the bridge). :roflmao:
