this is china livery ver. currently no info what sponsor that they will choose for spain later.
however, i need to ask something (and would be some nice input) :
is it fine if i put Mobil Pegasus logo in that place? in real life, Mobil Pegasus logo is actually placed on center between AkzoNobel and Hilton HHonors. but in game the limitation of the texture don't let me to put it right, if i place it on the center, the left side would be okay but on the right side it looks silly (not placed right a.k.a too way back).
Nice render although there is no need to make the tyres , treads have paint effect too. It's just unrealistic. If you make both of them have plastic effect( or only the tread without texture, just give it a color) it would look more realistic actually.

oh yeah you're right, actually i only put paint effect on tyres, skin and rims, the rest like generic_main, glass,tread etc, i don't put any effect on them.

and about the Mobil Pegasus logo, how do you think matey? is it okay if i put it on that place?

I would wait till the weekend and see what kind of livery will they come up with. I wouldn't waste my time on a fantasy one. And hope you take my advice and you won't put any paint effect ever again on the tyres and treads ever again, but it's your choice mate. I just find it unrealistic.

The Pirelli logos on the sidewalls can be applied as a separate png file, create the placement for it and leave only the lettering and save as a png then apply that as the texture over the top of the material already applied.....create a separate nm file at the same time should you wish.

this issue occured sometimes, but mostly not. any ideas why?

Make a folder and convert all .dds files you need to use into .bmp files, they work better.

That's why I use PNG files for every single texture. DDS just doesn't work in keyshot.

True. I do that too. I don't use texture file for treads. I just give a diffuse a dark grey color then I apply plastic effect as you've suggested to me long time ago. That works for me.

dds work in keyshot, however sometimes there's a problem like mine when i assign it to some part (the dds file of the parts like rims, generic etc i get them from extracting the related pssg files).
i agree with ML that bmp works better. and wouldn't meet any problem with it

No offence Pebz, they look beast however Mclaren is kinda overused , not only in the last year game not now in this one too. It's boring to see so many MC skins.
In 2012, some people used the Marussia for the flat nose too. Could it also be overused?

You weren't even here when we were skinning in f1 2012 so how would you know that which car we used the most?And you're wrong. Mclaren was the only overused car in f1 2012. For flat noses we used HRT and MARUSSIA too but the number of cars made on that chassic were much smaller than the ones made on mclaren chassic.
