How to complete the photo mode missions?

I have visited the photographer on Ibiza. He wants me to make pictures of specific parts of the island.

Is there a way to target these missions with GPS? Or is it just cruising around and randomly find those panorama sites?

Is there a map available where all the important places can be found: dealerships, challenges etc?

When the servers were offline yesterday i couldn't do one single championship in the b-category. Is it only because of those silly leaderboards that a connection for this is needed?

When I got to Hawaii, something happened, and I got the option to at least see the symbols for photo locations. But still mostly random cruising I guess.
