Hey there I followed the tutorial on the website for mac installation but i still can't make it to work
Check your "Windows security". Sometimes the firewall can block the connections to the Tool. This happened to me on my Win11 laptop, when I was doing some testing. You just need to allow the Java/Azul runtime to accept connections from the network.

Cheers.

As per every year, this is the best tool out there and i am loving what seems to be a new option, as attached, the SESSION EVENTS view. I can really do with the data showing in this,. all the collisions, warning small collisions, most of which dont show in Race Director in F1 23 or F1 24.........to be saveable into a log file.

The info being listed in real time in this SESSION EVENTS window is not able to be select all, Copied and Pasted into a notes/excel file, so I'm wondering, Iko Rein, if I am missing something, I cannot find an option to save this data?

I am about to Paypal and donate, you thoroughly deserve all the proceeds people send over to you mate!
Session Events.....but is there a log file for this.png

This data now is just "plastered on the window", so I am not keeping it all stored. I could add a way to print these. I will need to see, how much space it would require for a long race. As you can see, the game sends quite liberally these Overtake events. In the beta is was even more "liberal".

Cheers.

Iko Rein updated Telemetry Tool for F1 24 (and many other games) with a new update entry:

Telemetry Tool for F1 24 (and many other games)

Version 14.1 is here.

This version contains a lot of little tweaks, but also some really big fixes/additions. I would recommend anyone, even old F1 games players to update to this version.

Key updates/changes/additions/fixes
F1 24
- Many ERS/MGU related additions ot Driving/Race Info etc. to better optimze the use of them during races.
- Many other litter F1 24 related fixes/tweaks.
- Sadly still with F1 24 v1.4 the speed data in TT is messed, so the 'Speed Diff' bar in RaceInfo and...

Thanks Iko !

I have tested some races, and got the info I needed by copy/pasting screenshots of a long window of the output showing in the SESSION EVENTS window, into a jpg. I then OCR converted that to Excel and can manipulate the data in it, and by appending multiple screenshot OCR conversions together, i can see all the events as being reported by the game. For the record, a half race at Silverstone and a half race at Monza ended up with just 3 x screenshots for each half race. So in terms of space for each race (each screenshot is attached for one of the races), u can see around 120 lines being outputted so with the last #3# screenshot shorter in length, I would say that for half of a full race, 26 laps in this instance, which was Silverstone, on average 2.5 x 120 = 300 lines of info so make that a roughly 600 lines per full race. Phew! That was some maths! So if u CAN get this data into some kind of output file automatically, then wow, I salute u sir, it would save all the screenshot and conversions I am doing. What I love about this SESSION EVENTS is that literally u witness around 5 x the amount of Collisions being reported compared to what F124's Race Director shows for Incidents, and we all know F1 23, F1 22, F1 21 going back was the same thing showing more or less. So your SESSION EVENTS is the true amount of car collisions and I absolutely LOVE to see this telemetry data being finally shown. You deserve big accollades for this tool mate.

Oh and the reason this is so important to me is that I use this to look back at AI to AI crashes in the game via the saved replay when it ends or I retire out, even just the small collisions, as contrary to what many might think, this game is very organic in terms of its AI thinking on the track.

So to view the incidents I am going thru the worksheets I create by OCRing the jpgs and look for all the collision/retirements etc, note down the lap they were on, takes some guessing where the L1 is showing for most of them due to the fact that I park up sometimes and allow the AI across the grid to race each other, so I think when it shows collisions and overtakes, L1 on all of them in this instance means that that is the Lap that I personally have my car parked up on.

All the retirements, speed traps, and fastest laps show with the correct Lap the AI car was on at that moment.

Incidentally, what on earth is "Speed Trap" ??

How do you get this SESSION EVENTS view? I can't seem to find it while in F1 24.

Fully love using this tool with F1 24! Just some things I've noticted with sprint weekends and don't know if you can fix them.

  • Sprint Qualifying shows up as a 'Race' session with LAST LAP as the counter.
  • The Sprint Race show up as 'Race' session.
  • The Grand Prix shows up as 'Sprint Race' session.
  • Practice and Qualifying both show up as their correct sessions.

Here is the status:
1) Sprint quali marked as race is a bug on my side, I had marked them as race event. Fix will be in 14.2.
2) The issue with Sprint Race and Race identifying is an issue, which has been raised with Codemasters. I know some people have made a "workaround" on this. I will look if I can also use that and add fix to 14.2

Cheers.

Is it just for me that things are duplicated? Annoys me a lot lately. Not everytime but a lot of the times the reference or my own lap has duplicated Inputs. Am I the only one experiencing this issue or does someone have a fix?
Brake duplicated Input hard to see but the delta is clearly to see

Does this happen on all laps/games or just at the start of the race and on a certain game?

Sometimes the first lap does not get "cleared" and lately I have been working on fixing that but it is not a "simple solution", as the first lap things are bit different on different games/game modes.

Cheers.
