echo in teamspeak.

Can anyone help me with this.
When i`m in teamspeak all is fine and i`m pretty good to understand.
But as soon as there is a sound on my headset it looks like that sound is also transmitted thrue the microphone and a echo apears.
I try`d to reinstall teamspeak and have revieuwd the FAQ.
But there is no anwser to my problem.

Only good thing is that i drive Stiggy nuts with the sounds :D

So can anyone help me...

Nooby Questions re TeamSpeak

I have a few really nooby Q's. I have it installed and have tried it a couple of times on the TS Server, to test it out. But how do most of you use it?

1. Do you use it to chat during a race session? eg in the pits
2. Can you chat during a race? If so, how can you hear your other game sounds?
3. If yes to 1. and 2. , does it have any impact on fps of the game?

1. Yes, and not only when i am not driving. I am very good in shouting: "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, *#&^&@)))#&@^&@", when something goes wrong

2. Yes you can (push-to-talk or with voiceactivation), you can turn the volume of the gamesounds higher and lower (soundoptions)

3. Nope, not on my little beast

1. During practice we talk quite often, during tourney races only before and after quali and between race 1 and 2 and eventually during the race (when neccesary)

3. Nope, i don't notice any performance drop from having TS on.

Sure.

Go to Start - Control Panel - Sounds and Audio devices
In the middle of this window click advanced and you will see a sort of equalizer.

Look if the Microphone option is there and select mute below.

This will mute the microphone playback only, the recording function will stay intact.

Waku, i tried that one to but, somethings its also happening with me.
Really strange.

Need to find some good setting because at this moment i hear everyone really loud AND i have to yell or else no one hears me :(

mmmm test test..

An echo usally occurs on teamspeak when someone is using
speakers open instead of headphones/headset.

The transmitted sound comes outta the speakers, is being
recorded by the mic and transmitted back again...(and again if both users are using speakers)

Sometimes the sensitivity of a headset mic is that sensitive that the
transmitted sound to the headphones is being recorded by the headset-mic
the same way like described above.

Sollutions:
- reduce microphone sensitivity (somewhere in the middle between "whisper" and "shout")
- reduce sound out

Well i`m using a headset with mic and the problem keeps on going.
I try`d all kinds of settings.
I`m getting pretty depressed with this kind of (****)thing.

Soundsettings Teamspeak, please read all

I made a screenshot from my soundsettings without echoooooo.

Open the zip file and look at the screenshot.

Wido,
it doesn't have to be neccessarily your problem/fault.
If someone else uses no headset, you are automatically involved
in the problem - like any other else who is currently in the same channel.
