SERVER IS UP!

Hi Ole,
Sign me up please.
Will "Anti-lock brack brakes" & "Traction Control" be allowed and would you recommend to use them or leave them switched off?

Paddy

Uhm. So, we tend to use the "real setting" option in rF2, which means that for the cars that has ABS or TC, that can be activated in the car setup screen, and not be activated through the F-buttons.

However, I know that Roy tried to send you a setup at Watkins Glen, but you had to leave before R2, so I think he was a bit too late. That setup should work nicely with all FWD cars. I am sure @Roy Magnes can send it to you again, and maybe say what changes he does to the braking to try to avoid locking up as well. In terms of traction control, I feel that will hamper the car more than helping. But let's see if Roy can do some setup-help (which is originally a setup from @Jimlaad43 that he shared with us previously, and seems to fit Roy at least)

Sign me up, please.

Yessir!

Back for a 2nd Super Touring attempt I see! :) Happy to see you return! :D

Hi Ole, Roy.
Yes I dident receive the setup at that time so i would love to give it a try if you are willing to share again.
I would like to be able to keep up with the rest of the group and give me a chance to learn some race craft like for example passing someone for a change. :)

Well, it wasn't a pass, but you kept me behind for some laps yesterday, and the only reason I got by was that you started to slide around a bit, if it hadn't been for that, I would've struggled!

Hi Roy. What sort of lap times were you getting? Want to see if I'm anywhere close to the pace. I have my AI set to 105% and can just keep up.
Another few questions :)
Does the DRS do anything with these cars?
Is there a way to change from left hand drive to right hand drive. Sometimes when I take out the Mondeo its right hand drive and then next time its left hand drive? Seems strange.

Do you prefer licensed hardware?

  • Yes for me it is vital

  • Yes, but only if it's a manufacturer I like

  • Yes, but only if the price is right

  • No, a generic wheel is fine

  • No, I would be ok with a replica
