I put the server up this afternoon and it was all good to go. I don't know what happened to Guido, but maybe he'll run it again for next week. Tha race that just refused to happen!

Eventually we had 3 people in discord and just enjoyed some online classic F1 races at Monza and Spa, a good time was to be had nonetheless!

that was fun, for about 10 minutes -didn't map a 'reset car' button, and after avoiding the the typical monza startline carambalage.. my ligier was flipped by someone trying an ambitious overtake at the first chicane..

Glad you had a good time. We were basically just looking for a nice combo for some people of the community from the podcast I'm doing to get acquainted with AMS2, which seemed to work rather well, too. They're hooked now.

I thought "reset car"only worked in Single player?

That was nice yes. drivig those older version of great tracks (Monza and Spa) makes you wonder why they ever got changed....
We are going to do 3 sprintraces on historic Spa next week with the GT1. Any thoughts on joining forces and have a decent grid with solid drivers? Race 2 was ruiend for me by bad driving standards, we could improve by using the Racing Club standard and server.
GT1's are a blast since they got a tyre update (even though I am still to slow in them).

Sure, I could try and get a few of the guys on board for that! We were four in total, but since the server was a public one, it started to fill up - even more than I thought

Edit: They aren't on RD as far as I know though and, as a result, not premium members.

Glad you had fun! And I agree, the classic content is definitely a big strength of AMS2. Especially with the period-correct skin packs.

No worries, I keep mixing up names all the time, especially when it comes to nicknames and real names.

No, usually only if I am online myself, which was more frequent recently. Usually, it went by SimRacing Buddies, named after our podcast - would be cool to see you around sometime for sure!
