Hey guys

Okay here are the skins created by me over the last few weeks.

38 in total, 19 Chevrolet and 19 Peugeot.

All completely fictional of course, but I hope you enjoy them.

I have given all the cars different numbers and names from the originals in game, so you should be able to run them alongside the original skins.

Pretty new to the modding aspect on the rfactor platform, and this is my first attempt.

Haven't found a way to have the game read a new RFM file hence the reason for the new numbers and names.

Hope you enjoy them........happy racing fellas!

;)

GSCE Radio Control 1:8 scale unofficial mod - Realistic radio control racing and drifting with 5 cars on 1 circuit.

Video!

Intro

Hi! This is a ... different ... mod for Game Stockcar Extreme: 1:8 scale racing and drifting with realistic (scaled) physics! This doesn’t mean the cars themselves are exact copies of real Radio Control (RC) cars though, they have believable but imagined properties.

It is a physics experiment that got out of hand. Previously the only RC mod, for rFactor, MadCowies excellent work, used 1:1...

Tried to join 2 public servers with the skin and got booted both times, whereas with default skin i was allowed to join no problem. Not sure why you say that it won't cause online mismatches, when any custom skin does cause one/always has. Unless it's part of a standalone rfm.

I should've clarified, it won't cause online mismatch as long as you use a driver/.veh file that the server also has, as in this mod doesn't change any hdv/rfm files. Thought that would be obvious, sorry...

If you want to use a custom skin on a server that doesn't have your mod installed you can always just drop the skin into an existing team folder and rename the skin (although the custom skin will only be visible to you, no one else on the server).

I have an odd feeling here, not sure if you're serious or not? This is the suspension on the Ninja Racer, with the tires represented as thin rings, i'm not drawing the width in my spreadsheet. They're normal double wishbones with anti lift / dive / rise / squat.

If you're not joking, then please explain a bit more what I do wrong as I am happy to explain things! Its the internet you see, hard to know if people are serious or not..
