PC2 Steam download

Hi guys,
Not long for us to wait now, just wondering I have pre ordered deluxe edition on steam, will it install before the release date? Or I gotta get up early on the 22nd and start the install?

Preload would be nice. That and the 2 hour refund window are really the only advantages to buying from Steam instead of a 3rd party site.

I also preloaded the game through the night. Now I am at work. However as the Steam says, it will be available to play in Poland around 23:00.

Yes, preloading now. Just put a fresh install of Win 7 on my gaming rig this week. Will be driving this tonight after work.

I could've sworn it said 46gb when the dl started on steam last night, but I'll check when I get back home again this evening. I hope they unlock it at the latest by midnight here in Germany, not long now......

Ah, ok. That would be a plausible explanation; the 46gb is the expanded game size on the computer. Can't wait to get home this evening....

Not necessarily. Steam says it's unlocking at 5pm EDT in the States.

I've checked the Steam Store throught the New Zealands VPN and it looks that it will be available everywhere at European midnight (Paris, Berlin, Warsaw - time zone).

Last night I pre-loaded PC2, and it looked like it was a normal download, but when I checked the PC2 folder on my C partition just now, it's empty..WTF?

So Steam is telling me that this game unlocks in 4hours(10pm UK time) I'm not going to run any of my other Sims till then, going into this as a Virgin
