If anyone sees this thread from now and until race start and want's to join. Don't wait for me to answer "you're in" or something. I'm on the server myself. Just join the fun :) there are lots of spots available.

Thanks for the race tonight. Good fun, even though my pit stops screwed me over :(.

A bit weird to click like on it, but I liked that you had fun :) Hope to see you - and everyone else for the coming weeks as well :) It was good grid tonight even though some of the usuals wasn't able to make it! :) That's a positive for the future grid sizes :)

EDIT: Results will be uploaded after a small bit of testing for next week that I need to do :)

Two pitstops, a drive through and both stops unneccessarily changed tyres which I couldn't stop. That lost me all the time bearing in mind I first pitted from the lead.

Had massive pace advantage over Dahlgren, but bottled it at the chicane on the penultimate lap and spin away a chance at a podium. Gahhhh...

Yeah I was planning not doing tires and run medium all the way, but my up/down button was assigned to something else, so I had to do tires to medium twice :(.

Who was the yellow LMP2 that hit the barrier in turn 1 ? That was a nasty one!

What a race! Started of real bad, had no rythm and caught a DT with like 3 laps or so. I was so annoyed. Cleared it and kept on fighting through the field, some smaller mistakes kept setting me back but eventually made it to @Ole Marius Myrvold who had lots lesss pace at that point and passed him for. At that point @xoSx.Racing had already had an early pitstop so we were battling for P3. Again had a mistake so he made it past again and I decided to go pit. Took a bit too much fuel and came out just where I left, right behind Ole. Had a good fight for a bit when I think he luckily decided to stop fighting and catch Dastan who's pace suffered prob from the tyres being older. Had a great battle until the end with like 3 laps to go my rims USB decided to have a loose connection. was stuck in 3rd, after the bus stop, then made it into 5th until it lost it again. Tried to fix it while driving alongside Dastan over start / finish and missed my braking point into turn one still trying to fix it. So sorry mate! Glad you recovered quickly as well. Reeled Dastan in again and probably profited from some chaos in front to sneak by and brought P3 home. Quite enjoyable in the end but the start left me steaming.
Thanks for organizing Ole!

@Ole Marius Myrvold Thank you for hosting!
It was a very nice race with very few incidents if im not mistaken. And a very very safe lap 1 with no incidents!

We ended just in time to watch an incredible finish to the Michelin Pilot Challenge at Daytona! They are pushing these GT4's to the absolute limit

Tbh, I wasnt happy at all with my pace...to begin with. It felt slow and Marc powered off into the distance, especially after some very rough first few laps where I found myself down in 5th or 6th after contact and a bit of drifting through the chicane. A lap or so later I THINK I cut someone off in T1-2, causing a wreck. Jeff didnt warn me until I saw cars spinning in the mirror, I felt no contact, but if I did, I'm sorry.
Found a rythm where I could manage my tires and fuel, hoping my stradegy would pay off. In testing I found that if I stuck to one of the lower engine modes, I could JUST finish the race with half a liter of fuel left, on one stop. It was risky, but I felt I had to, the pace wasnt completely there.
As the race wore on, I saw that I could make it, but it would be close. As Marc pitted before the half way mark, and I managed to stretch out two more laps, I knew he needed to pit again for a splash and I didnt, if I managed it correctly. In the end I did, crossing the line with 1L left having had a very close eye on the fuel delta on my dash.
Cheers for showing up people, always fun these multiclass events :)

Yes I had a lot less pace. I was running "race lean" to get one lap longer on the stint. I also tried to calculate if I could fill less fuel. And made weird mistakes. Hah.
Ended up underfueling anyway, so had to run 2 laps with safety-car mode and lift&coast. Oups.
Also got a Drive Through.

I noticed that on the new driver labels that it says if the driver you are fighting with have a penalty, and what kind of penalty. That's a nice touch! :)

Thanks for showing up! :) The fact that there are quite a few people showing up makes it all worth it for me :)

Has been awhile i was racing online, reallife sports/business and bad web connection situation took a lot of time and joy the last months.
But finally i jumped in today and had alot of fun.
Thanks to marius and reacedepartment for hosting and to all on track for your patient.
The race was smooth despite some smaler misunderstandings during been lapped.
Could have been better as i missed my pits on the first attempt had to drive through.
A second drive through after a penalty cost amoe more time.
But all in all not that bad

@Michel vL possibly?

And ye, mapping buttons for the pit-options are useful :) Prototypes always have to pit in these races.
Yep, that was me. I locked up the rears trying to avoid @Jan Larsen who swooped right in front of me in turn 1, and In clipped the inside wall. No worries, these things happen . Waiting until the pack of GTEs passed me and had a really nice battle with @ThreeLionz (Joe) for quite some Laps whilst keeping an close eye on my fuel target each lap as I really wanted to get away with one stop. Aside from some stupid mistakes from my end it was a nice race. Including some Spa 2000 action as @Ole Marius Myrvold rightly spotted. I always enjoy these multiclass races, and finishing this longer race feels like a accomplishment.
Thanks chaps!
