Happily though, a traceroute (like above) doesn't include your own address. It will sometimes provide a clue about where you are in the world (country, maybe city), and that would still be a concern for some people I guess.
I wondered if now you've seen it should I remove it.

My ISP replied telling me that there is no problem for them.:(
Hmm, maybe you can get them to be more precise. Because it's seeming like they are (accidentally?) admitting that the problem is at their end. If they were to say "hey we can't get a good speed to that site either" then it would mean that either their connectivity to us was bad or our connectivity to the whole planet was bad (not the case, as we've already discussed). But by saying that they have no issue it suggests that the problem lies in the service that THEY provide to you from their own network... That would strongly imply that they are doing some kind of traffic management (somewhat ineptly perhaps) and breaking your download speeds. Do they admit to having traffic management? (Some ISPs use it, some don't; those who do use it don't always like to admit it.)

A really useful test they could do would be to register a (non-premium) account and attempt to download a file - for simplicity it might as well be one of the files you already tried. If that's slow for them, they should hopefully be able to debug it. If it's fast for them they will have to admit that they are messing about with your packets based on the context...

I make another test, with a vpn service or Tor, i can download files with no problems, but with my public ip is impossible..
I think you have no option but to go back to your ISP and ask them to explain how you can have this problem. (See my previous post.)
If they can't/won't help, you may wish to consider moving to another ISP.

Please try with a browser other than Opera. You are not connecting here with your public IP but are routed through an Opera proxy according to the IP logs. I believe this can be disabled but I'm not sure if it can be done on a site-by-site basis.

Hopefully your download speeds are now more sensible, while in Chrome?
No way, 1 minute to open a download page and impossible surf the forum until i close the download page that keep loading... 25kB/s is the max download speed on all the site. I must use opera with proxy or tor browser.

Well I'm afraid I'm totally baffled about what's going on. Dave may still have a clue, but your ISP really should be able to offer you some support about the poor speed for this site relative to others.

I explained the problem to my ISP but the technicians who answer are not able to solve a problem. Everything is fine for them and the problem does not depend on them. I have no chance to change isp since it is the only one that provides the service in the open country where I live.
The problem has been around for about a year.

I know it's frustrating but if the site was the issue we would have multiple complaints, the challenge here is for your ISP to take it seriously you'll likely have to raise a formal complaint.

Hi guys,
for the last few days the download speeds on the site are kind of slow. They`re mostly between 200 and 350 KB/s. I'm not sure if I have missed something related to the servers or the site in general. Can anyone tell me whats going on?
Thanks in advance!

No recent complaints that I'm aware of and things are downloading at full wire speed for me (~ 70 Mb/s).
That's weird... I don't think the issue is my provider because I just downloaded NVIDIA graphics drivers which worked fine and also Steam and co has no issues. The interesting thing on the other hand is that when I have let's say 5 downloads from RD at the same time they all download with speeds between 100 and 150 KB/s which together obviously is higher than downloading s single one with 200 to 350. I already tried fixing registry issues and deleting browser cache but without success. Also trying to download via Edge browser was no solution either.

Well there have certainly been no changes at our end so all I can guess is that there's some sort of (hopefully transient) issue on one of the hops between your ISP and our host.
Not that I truly expect to learn a great deal from it, it wouldn't hurt to see the output of traceroute (tracert.exe) from your machine to www.racedepartment.com. Oh and out of curiosity, what's your normal download speed?

Yeah no problem, could have added it in the first place since I'm working as an IT specialist but whatever :D
I'll send you the result as a PN...
Since I'm living in a small village in Germany my Internet speed in general is pretty trash but it normally should be at about 1,7 MB/s or around 15 Mbit/s.
One more thing: When I downloaded a mod update on January 10th I did not encounter any download speed issues.

Thanks. Indeed I (unfortunately) see nothing untoward in the traceroute output...
Perhaps worth asking your ISP if they are aware of any connectivity issues with i3d?

Could do but I'm afraid they won't be a big help (as usual)
I mean it's not the end of the world it just takes longer to download ;D
But thanks a lot for trying to help! Very appreciated.
