Can you share more detail of whats happening? Which port is getting changed?
Thanks, Port of HTTP server. I Start simwriter.exe and simviewhttp.exe. They work fine for a while and then when players want to enter the server, it shows the message that the port changed to zero.

This seems issue with AC server's HTTP server and not SimView http server. Not sure why that would change. Check AC server log, it might have something related to it. Does it changes when not using simview?

I have the next message in the log file:

Persistent Byte updated SimView with a new update entry:

Release v1.0

A lot of fundamental changes so marking it v1.0. Hoping it performs and look better now.

  • Performance:
    • Moved live leaderboard API to Writer process. Single thread in Writer process will serve leaderboard API over configurable port (defaults to ac.server.udp.local.port). This port need to be opened to public (along with port for HTTP process) for Live Leaderboard to work now.
    • Changed live leaderboard API to WebSocket broadcast with binary data...

Release v1.1

Finally fix for issue when running with ACSM v2.

Enable this feature with ac.server.udp.use.acsm.udp config when running AC servers from ACSM v2+ versions.

  • Bug:
    • Fixed lights countdown...

First a big thank you for this great piece of kit.
As the app needs a lot of Kunos data in the content folder, and the folders are quiet large,
specially in an multi ac server environment, I would recommend to have a parameter where we can define a path to a full ac content pool.

This partially works. If the required files are not present in content folder of server folder it checks for them in the main content folder which could have all the tracks/cars files and not just specific to one server.

Will think of better way to acomplish this to reduce big files upload.

Hey, thanks for the replay, specially in a dedicated server environment you don't have the full assetto installation.
We use for example tcadmin as a server management system. We can't copy over always the full ac content folder into each gaming server

I have another problem and probably I don't get it done right.
As mentioned , it's possible to run 1 instance of the simview_http server and run different writer on different ports.
What I'm doing wrong, because I only have a working live map, when I run the http server from inside where the writer is.
As soon the writer isn't in the same directory as the http server I get the "No live session present" message.
I don't think that it has something to do, that I run the writer over a realpenalty relays

Directory should not matter. All data is saved in DB anyway by each writer. You can verify in writer logs also if its working properly i.e. receiving data from AC server.
