AC Secret Fun Event #2, Tuesday 10th August 2021

Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
Oh boi, thanks for reminding me!!! I'm running the ADAC Simexpo community cup today so it will be tight but I should still make it.
Keep in mind that it can be necessary for you to install 1 or 2 mods. You have about 15 minutes to do that.

Welcome to the RD Racing Club.

Based on the very positive feedback I've received from all of you who have participated in my first secret fun event (thank you so much for that!), I'm hosting a new one. Of course it will be very different from the first one but maybe even more fun!

The characteristics are:

  • FUN IS KEY!
  • No preparation beforehand!
  • Car is unknown until start of the event
  • Car has very few setup options so everyone has basically the same car.
  • Track is unknown until start of the event
  • No practice, only qualify (20min) and race (40min)
  • Total duration roughly 1 hour 25 minutes, including sign up and install mod if needed.
This event will not be published on s.gp until 15 min before it starts to keep it secret AND to give you time to sign up and install a mod if needed.

ALTHOUGH YOU HAVE TO SIGN UP YOURSELF PLEASE POST HERE IF YOU GOING TO SO I WILL KNOW HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS THERE WILL BE!

Ahh that was a fun adventure, first few laps were very exciting, but I couldn't keep the consistency up when I was driving on my own! Couldn't keep track of all the tricky corners and once I'd fallen all the way to the back felt a bit more like a danger than a racer but I enjoyed it up till then. Would love to do another one of these on an easier track to learn.

Also sorry for however I badly rejoined on near the end of the race, that car really likes to spin exactly 180 degrees :D
