Are you sure that you have put your settings in the correct folder? Your SVM files should be in the <rF2_install_dir>\UserData\player\Settings\<track_name> folder.

I'm sorry to hear that you had difficultly trying to join the server. What specifically was the issue that you were experiencing? If you had joined TS then I would have been able to provide assistance. Hopefully you are able to sort the problem before next time.
