This game is borderline unplayable with a Pimax HMD due to the requiring “parallel projections” which kills performance on an already unoptimized game in VR.
Even when turning the game down to PS2 level graphics, no exaggeration, there are severe performance issue ranging from framerate to stuttering and texture crawl. The combination of which give me motion sickness and/or eye strain.
Aside those issues, the game as a whole feels very much like a DIY project bundled into a consumer product. Now that I own the game, I’ll be more keen to stay on top of development and progress. I hope that in the future the game “just works.”
