rF2 S397 GT3 @ Spa-Francorchamps - Fri 24 Mar 2023

rFactor 2 Racing Club event
SERVER IS UP! Note that the forecast isn't exactly summer and sunshine, and our server does use real weather (+10 degrees air temp): https://www.tomorrow.io/weather/BE/WAL/Spa/009064/hourly/

Since our last time in the GT3's at Buenos Aires, this is the BoP weight changes:
Code:
Aston Martin: +10kg
BMW M4: -12kg
Ferrari: +8kg
McLaren 650s: -3kg
McLaren 720s: -5kg
Mercedes: +10kg
Porsche: -10kg

I have now lost complete overview of how this have been changed lately, but I know that the Mercedes got a weight reduction twice, and now had some added.

I have a question, the realroad preset on the server is green?
Feels like driving on ice, nearly.

The traklimits from S397 here on Spa are once again a joke btw.
You get a penalty when taking la source close to the wall. Really? Come on S397!
Overall the tracklimits are a bit "strange" and not very predictable.
Normally i don't complain, but for now i have no fun driving around, sorry.

Hi guy's

I have 2 questions, first one. How do i determine at which time in the weather forecast the qualy and the race will take place ? Second question, is there a way to know the track condition before going on track ? thanks for the help :)

The weather in game is live, so aim for the time that the race will actually happen. If you go to 1 Hour you can see it by hour.

When you are on the server, it will tell you the amount of rain falling at the top of the screen. Track wetness is only findable by going on track and scrolling through the MFD.

Really track límits are so strict on practice, I hope in race allow more. Come on guys! That's a very well and known combination, GT3 + Spa

RealRoad preset is: "User: AutoSave". That means it saves the realroad when sessions changes, the track is reloaded etc.
This also means that if it rains, dries up, and you are on the track first, it will be green!

You can add AI's on the server IIRC, that will help to get rubber down quicker again. In practice sessions the track is set at 3x speed for evolution. So it gets wet 3x as quick as normal, dry 3x as quick, and rubbers in 3x as quick etc.

Yup. S397 and track limits can be... very strict, and somewhat weird.

I have now set it to "relaxed", but as opposed to Buenos Aires, I can't turn it off here!
