actually, i don't know about the others but i do check that link. especially, after that last race at suzuka where it was raining and i found myself totally unprepared for wet racing, i've taken a keen interest in tracking the weather predicted for the event.

i was just on the server... it was raining... this should be interesting!

You don't read it wrong no. This evening it looks like it won't rain. But Nürbs is a place where the wheater does change a bit at "random".

The Real Weather app works like this: It takes the radar-data available, it takes real life updates (however, I am not sure from where, or how often) about actual rain/no-rain. And it does add the probability. So, if it is forecasted 20% chance of rain during a period of 30 minutes. The app does calculate that, so even if there's no rain on radar or the updates from the ground, there is a tiny chance (but less than 20%) for some drizzling on the server, due to the probability.

Also, the server gets updated with real weather data every 3 minutes. This is because the free API can fetch data 500 times each day, and fetching data every 3 minutes = 480 times in a day

I drove last week with rain at Nords with track heavily wet and it was really funny. I would love a race with a mix of dry and rainy conditions, it would be a challenge

A Premium Membership and whatever content is needed (So for this event, 1 car and the track).

While I would love for you to join already now. There is a rookie week planned in May, where you don't need premium membership, if you want to test out before buying the (cheap) premium
