Ryzen AM5 ; 7000

Very Thin okay

Any chance you have left an iGPU enabled and windows has installed a driver.

When I tested using the 7800X3D iGPU for my everyday TV use it was perfect.
However it screwed with Nvidia and second monitor badly.
Even tried a fresh OS and only installing the driver never helped.
Using 2 monitors I got all sorts of stuff going on when I would enable a sim on rig and still using iGPU as desktop across the room.

Shame because it looked so nice for desktop ...that crisp AMD black is unbeatable.

P.S.
One discovery I really like is when I enable both monitors ( Rig: 3440 Everyday: 4K TV )
I can set a 3440x1440 window on my 4K TV@144Hz ! ( Samsung Neo)
This is great for testing, making mods and having identical performance to rig.

the only place i can think of to get some advice...
I have done everything I can to solve this.
Boot the PC and all three monitors go into 1080p. The only way I can get the three monitors to boot to 1440p is to turn two off. It then boots to one monitor at 1440p, then turns the other two monitors on, and now I have three monitors at 1440p, stays this way.
Turn off the PC and it now boots all three at 1080p again. it is a continual cycle that always ends up back to the start, three monitors at 1080p instead of 1440p.
:O_o:
I sadly don't really have an idea, but pls try these settings for all your monitors:

Maybe something goes weird with some scaling triggers, no idea... But this disables ANY scaling and might calm things down.

Probably not it, but the only thing I can think about making a difference would be these 3 boxes:

Also: when using the iGPU, is the monitor connected via HDMI instead of DisplayPort? That might cause the "HDMI Black Level" in your Monitor/TV to flip to the other setting. My Samsung TV has such an option and is the same as the "Output dynamic range" in the Nvidia Control Panel. Black becomes blacker and cleaner, White becomes brighter.

I suppose I start from the advantage of knowing that for the past two weeks it was working okay, but still full of funny things happening on start up with the screens turning on and off three or four times, sometimes 1080p but always going to 1440p.
Usually fault finding is a slow drag towards the light, this thing has got worse and worse.
I have two pc, both are now doing the same, at least the 12600k only turn of and on once, but always in 1080p, now.
I am going to get another mother board for my 7800x3d AMD and load a new OS onto it.
This has bricked itself twice recently, trying to get by with a year of work, suddenly back to nothing, is quite disconcerting. ( this is the third time I have had to load win 10 onto it ) I now luckily do a lot of restores every few weeks. I recovered a , what looked like a total lost computer with a restore.
Tried the above information ( thankyou for that :) ) no go, I will get my 7800x3d and give that a try before I strip it.
Luckily I keep my OS separate from everything else on it’s own SSD.

Well , i have had loads of monitors, never any problems at all. i loaded the driver for my monitor, first time i have ever done that, and got it to work for NOW ??? but as i have spent so many hours pointlessly trying to sort it all out, i am not sure what i have done or not done.:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
Normally there is some sort of coherent thinking and direction, but with this all i managed to do was create a lot more problem on route.
So i now have my 12600k which needs 2 monitors turned off leaving one , then power up the rest when it has booted. , so not sorted that, but not important.
My 7800x3d at present seem okay, so no need to go for a new OS and mother board.
although i loaded the latest bios into it.

All i have now is my pedal have thrown a wobbly.

i will look into the IGPU.

i threw every test program i could find at the 7800x3d without a single hiccup from it.

thankyou all for your help, much appreciated.:):):):):)

What next?????

PS
did what you said Rasmus, it does make a difference, when entering AC via CM it took a while for the image to sort itself, once i implemented what you described, no problem.:)

This comment stood out to me. You have a common denominator.

Are these separate PCs with their own monitors having the issues, or are you swapping the same monitors between the two systems? If it's the former, I suspect it's a piece of software or a buggy video driver causing the headaches. It could be combination of the two, or maybe just plain simple malware that's infecting your PCs.

For what it's worth, I have a 7800x3d with triple 1440p monitors. My GPU is a Radeon 7900XTX, and I'm running Windows 10. I don't have the issue you're describing.

Something you can try is running a Windows update to ensure you have the latest updates from Microsoft, then get the latest stable drivers for your GPU (I'm guessing NVidia). Follow the recommended process to update the drivers, and re-test.
