The main site was still live and only the forum went down so it is a vBulletin issue. If you have a dedicated server or even mid/top spec VPS you are not supposed to experience that with vBulletin unless there are processes or hacks eating resources but that is rare on top spec systems. Well if that is how the system behave with only a few people on I don't want to see it hog when it really gets hit by spiders, guests and members doing all kinds of things on the site.

RD is running at the same host and this site have never been slow for me. I know it is not on the same server but if they have the same kinda expenses as RD then I can only imagine they also have a fairly good server at hand.

I am not trying to troubleshoot or shooting them down or suggesting they know nothing because with that many registred members the guys over there must obviously know what they are doing.
