Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
Well done podium and thanks Brian for organising.

A really fun combo and some close racing with Brian and Casper later in the race.
I got bumped out of my grid slot before lights out by the car behind resulting in a drive through putting me nearly last. But some luck with others going off and with the Ginetta handing well I managed to claw my way back up to where I started.

It was exciting racing with the Maserati’s of Brian and Casper, they had so much straight line speed but I had the car under me through the corners. Pity that I got caught up in Casper’s half spin ( I think I knocked you straight again Casper ) but no worries, it was fun while it lasted.

Looking forward to the next one.

Has some real pace here so a bit disappointed with P4 in quali as pole or P2 was on. However, it all went to pot at the chicane and I got pushed off and ended up P19 after the first lap.

This was a blessing as I had the most fun I've had for ages, battling for the whole 50 mins to get back to P4 - which is where I started!

Being in a bopped Ginnetta really put this car at a disadvantage on the back of the circuit as it was no match for the Porsche or Maserati in a drag race. However, as Paul said, this car was fantastic in the corners so I was able to hound the cars in front.

It was good to see so many new drivers. Don't be put off if you felt off the pace. We all started that way and this type of club racing is the best way to improve your speed, consistency and race craft. Hope to see you again. Premium membership is a bargain so sign up :)

The difference between the Ginnettas and the Porsche/Maserati created a pretty fun dynamic. It was really exciting trying to figure out how to pass the Ginnettas on the back straight and then effectively defend in sector 3.

Well done podium and thanks Brian for organising as always.

After a long absence of online racing I still managed to qualify in a decent P3. Unfortunatly, the race went a bit unlucky. 3 times the guy in front of me spun and I couldn't avoid him. Had a nice 3 ways battle with Fulvio und a blue Porsche (man you were lagging hard sometimes. I hope I didn't bump into you but rubberbanding was pretty bad and your car jumped a few times) for the lead.

And of course I was on the wrong discord as it seemed. Was pretty quiet...

That was a great race, had a lot of fun and was running for 4th for quite some time until Simon tried to go on the inside in the first chicane, we had some contact and both continued on 10 places down or so! Eventually managed to slowly carve my way back up to 8th and briefly even 7th.

Not a bad race all in all given that I quali'd 20th! Lap 1 was... Quite a dodge fest ;)

My apologies sir.
