Rolex 24: Van der Zande on Pole, Alonso 13th

neither was I, first time I ever heard of it and I have been teaching English at College level for over 25 years, do not think it is disrespectful at all. Someone living in Great Britain is a Brit and someone living in Spain is a Spaniard, no offence there in my view. If one starts talking about Krauts, Gooks, Froggers etc. that's a different story.

Alonso nowhere. Surprising, that.
According to Martin Brundle, this is the hardest race he's ever done.

The Ligier isn't up to speed with the rest of the field, unfortunately. It can't touch an Oreca, especially in low downforce setup (although they are using the regular downforce kit). Alonso is the highest qualifying Ligier, even including the Ligier based Nissans.

Anyone know what happened to the #58? I missed the start, but when I tuned in around the 20 minute mark it was dead last and listed as "off".

A very good first hour. Love listening to the IMSA radio with Jon and Jeremy while tuning in to the TV. 'back up from the fences everybody this is about to get interesting' love it.
