I tried to generate a new AI line because I think the one we have is a bit too slow in some fast corners but when the cars drive along the start-finish-straight there is chaos and they slow down or try to drive ziczag. With the AI editor enabled I see that there are some red lines nearly on the complete straight, perhaps these are pit areas and the AI thinks it pits? I can't tell. Can you tell what causes this issue? On the rest of the track they're fine now, it's just the start-finish-straight.
I am not very firm with the AI editor that's why I'm asking.
Pit lane must be set to invalid prior to recording. You can find it in the surfaces.ini under the key PIT or PITS. Set IS_VALID_TRACK=0. After recording you can set back to 1.
You could do a very simple 3D-Max import and use Tesselate to smoothen and double the polycount.you guys are asking for a complete remodeling of the tarmac surface wich is basicly starting fron scratch, and that's not gonna happen.
Because just adding polygons doesnt do anything other than taking fps down,
If you take a plane and divide it into 10 more polygon the actual shape of the plane doesnt change.
