Race of Canada Preview
We reach the halfway stage of the season. Runner-up of the previous season Jimmy Laad has a 6 point lead over another good performer from the previous season, the so far winless Tobi Kederer. How will the title go? Will either of these driver get it, or will there be a shock from behind? The 10th race of the season is at Rattlesnake Point in Canada. Steven Poirier shows us around the circuit.

2 Things

  • The video upload speed is appalling and cataclysmically slow, so videos will be made, but not uploaded until I get back to university. I will do a post with links to them all at the time, and I have them all saved on my computer.
  • @kedy89 before you complain about the crappy rFactor AI and that you got a bad grid slot, you were blocked on your first lap and then crashed before you could set a good time. ;)

Yeah, sure, why should've I expected anything else. At least you got pole and can easily extend your lead in the standings this way.

Race of Canada Results

Herbert wins, Red Bull on a rampage
Ben Herbert
took win number 2 for himself in Canada. Leading home defending champion Aidan Keranen and Tobi Kederer. The race was action packed. Ben Utzer, Nicholas Lapierre and Steven Poirier all slid off at the same corner over the course of the race; a feat soon bettered by Xen Foro, who went off at the same corner, got the car slowed down before hitting a wall, before spinning back onto the racing line and having a head on collision with Kazuki Nakajima. The Red Bull cars were a bit kamikaze, after both managed to send another car flying, with Buurlage and Diaconescu flipping Squire and Saidy respectively. Milos Ancevski missed his braking point trying to overtake Lesley Buurlage and smashed into Danny Watts, causing them both to retire.

RDrFIA Conference
@Ben Herbert, win number 2 for you, what can the rest of the season yield for you?
@Aidan Keranen, a flash in the pan, or are you back?
@Ron Squire, you seem most determined to get a win, what is holding you back?
@SATLAB90, your team mate is getting frustrated by your lack of results. Is there a quick fix?
