Neron Doubles up
William Neron
became the first driver to win a second race. A calculated drive gave him the championship lead. Tobi Kederer was leading most of the way, but after a few collisions with backmarkers when lapping them, he was forced to pit and finished outside the points. Andrea Belicchi spoiled the party for some drivers as he came in second ahead of Lesley Buurlage. Xen Foro and Ben Utzer recorded their best finishes of the season in 4th and 5th respectively, while Rui Martins scored his first points. The track had an interesting USP, in that some of the walls seemed to be holograms! Drivers round that around the first complex, they were able to drive through them. This led to some embarrassing moments, especially for Congfu Cheng, who drove full on into a wall trying to return to the track, causing his retirement. The brakes are starting to be questioned by the teams, after Dhafin Rizki became the next driver in a long list to retire with brake failure.

@William Néron, congratulations on win number 2 and the championship lead! Do you think it is time you started looking for a competent team mate?
@lesleyyb First podium of a rather dreadful season so far, is this the turning point?
@Rui F. Martins you've now scored your first points, well done. Same question as to William, do you think Iberian Motor Racing Team should start looking for a new team mate for you?
@Davin.Rizuki tough crash there, what went through your mind as the car went flying into the barriers?

In other news, I have added a Fastest Laps column to the championship tables on the first post.
